Static motor analysis

Static motor analyzers helps you in in-depth analysis of motor windings and coils. Static test can help you in assessment of the machine condition. In case of problems with motor, tests can indicate the source of problem and after repairs check the quality of performed job.

On the basis of high voltage tests we are able to preciselly assess the windings condition. This method is more efficient than traditional windings insulation test. Those test can indicate even the problems with coil to coil insulation problem or turn to turn shortcuts. We are able to perform high voltage tests with voltage up to 6 kV. Low voltage tests can be done with current up to 600 mA and frequency up to 4 kHz.

Analyzer is able to perform following tests:

  • Phase angle
  • Resistance
  • Insulation resistance
  • DC hipot/step voltage
  • Dielectric absorption
  • Polarization index
  • Surge testing
  • Partial discharge (with surge)

The use of static motors and generators analysis will allow for comprehensive analysis of the state of insulation and power supply circuit, a detailed analysis of the state of coils, resistance between the stator sections and other parameters of the device. Tests can be performed as a preventive maintenance program, to diagnose faults and to check the quality of the service repairs.
